13-14,103.   Same; contributions; record.All elective or appointive city officers or employees under theprovisions of this act shall pay to the city three percent of their salaryto be used by the city in connection with amounts levied by the city underthe provisions of K.S.A. 13-14,100 in the payment of the pensionsherein provided for. The amounts to be paid by the elective or appointiveofficers or employees shall be deducted from the elective or appointiveofficer's or employee's salary semimonthly and shall be held by the citytreasurer and shall be designated as "employees' pension fund." A record ofall money deducted from elective or appointive officers' or employees'salaries as aforesaid shall be kept by a deputy in the city auditor'soffice designated by the governing body.
