13-628d.   Same; clerk appointed by municipal judge.The municipal judge of division No. 1 shall appoint a clerk, who shallhold office at the pleasure of said judge. The clerk, under the directionof said judge, shall have authority to make out, sign and issue allprocesses of said court, administer oaths required in proceedings beforeit, file and carefully preserve all papers in cases pending in said court,docket cases and set the same for trial, and shall do and perform suchother duties as may be required by law, or by the rules of the court ordirections of the judge thereof, or such as may be necessary and proper forthe convenience of the court or judge thereof.
