Article 6.--POLICE DEPARTMENT AND MUNICIPAL COURT

     
13-628d.   Same; clerk appointed by municipal judge.
The municipal judge of division No. 1 shall appoint a clerk, who shall
hold office at the pleasure of said judge. The clerk, under the direction
of said judge, shall have authority to make out, sign and issue all
processes of said court, administer oaths required in proceedings before
it, file and carefully preserve all papers in cases pending in said court,
docket cases and set the same for trial, and shall do and perform such
other duties as may be required by law, or by the rules of the court or
directions of the judge thereof, or such as may be necessary and proper for
the convenience of the court or judge thereof.
