13-796.   Overland Park fire protection services; adoption byresolution; direction to board of county commissioners.Overland Park ishereby authorized to establish a city fire department or to contract withany private or public entity for provision of fire protection serviceswithin the corporate limits of the city by adopting a resolution to thateffect directed to the board of county commissioners of Johnson county. Such resolution shall state a date certain forthe establishment of the city fire department or contractual relationshipwith any private or public entity, which date shall be not less than 90 daysfollowing adoption of such city resolution.
