14-6,101. Same; bonds; limitation; election.Any city which has accepted a gift for hospital purposes as provided inK.S.A. 14-6,100 may issue bonds to supplement the money received by suchgift to acquire a site for and construct and equip such hospital or to addto or enlarge and equip any such hospital in course of construction whenreceived or to add to or enlarge any such hospital already constructed andequip the same when received, in an amount not exceeding two hundredthousand dollars ($200,000): Provided, That the question of issuingbonds shall be submitted to the vote of the people at the next regular cityprimary or regular election or at any election called for that purpose, andno bonds shall be issued until a majority of the qualified electors votingon the proposition shall have declared by their votes in favor of issuingsaid bonds: Provided further, A proposition for the issuance of bondshereunder may be voted on at the same election where the acceptance of thegift is voted on.
