Article 10.--CEMETERIES

      15-1001.   Survey of cemeteries; improvements.The governing body of any city governed by this act may purchase, holdand pay for, in the manner hereinbefore mentioned, lands not exceedingeighty acres, in one body, outside the limits of such city, for the purposeof burial of the dead. The council shall provide for the survey, platting,grading, fencing, ornamenting and improving all the burial and cemeterygrounds, and the avenues leading thereto, owned by such city, and mayconstruct walks therein, rear and protect ornamental trees therein, andprovide for paying the expenses thereof.
