15-1012. Issuance of bonds for certain cemetery purposes; election. The governing body of any city of the third class having a city cemeterymay issue bonds in an amount not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000)for the purpose of purchasing an addition to such cemetery and the layingout, improvement and beautification of such cemetery or such additionthereto, or for any one or more of such purposes. All such bonds shall beissued, sold, delivered and retired in conformance with the general bondlaw: Provided, That no bonds shall be issued under the authorityconferred by this act until the question as to whether such bonds shall beissued has been submitted to a vote of the qualified electors of said cityat a regular city election or at a special election called for suchpurpose, and a majority of the qualified electors voting at such electionshall have voted in favor of such question. Notice of such election shallbe given as provided in the general bond law.
