15-1406.   Commissioners as governing body.The board of commissioners shall constitute the municipal government ofsuch city, and shall be the successors of the mayor and council, and, uponthe qualification of the members of said board of commissioners, allpowers, rights, duties and emoluments of the then mayor and councilmen ofany city adopting this act shall cease and terminate; but all currentunfinished business shall proceed without interruption under thecommissioners and all acts of the commissioners in respect thereto shall bevalid in every respect.
