15-1501. General functions of mayor.
The mayor shall preside at all meetings of the board of commissioners,
except as herein otherwise provided. The mayor shall be the chief executive
officer of said city, and shall have general supervision and control of all
other officers, departments and affairs of government of such city, and
shall take care that the provisions of this act and all ordinances of such
city are complied with.
