15-1501.   General functions of mayor.The mayor shall preside at all meetings of the board of commissioners,except as herein otherwise provided. The mayor shall be the chief executiveofficer of said city, and shall have general supervision and control of allother officers, departments and affairs of government of such city, andshall take care that the provisions of this act and all ordinances of suchcity are complied with.
