15-719.   Same; temporary notes and bonds; bond election.To provide for the payment of the city's share of the cost of any suchstreet or alley improvement, any such city may issue temporary notes andbonds of said city: Provided, That nothing herein shall be construedto authorize the issuance of any obligations of any city in excess of thepresent limitations of indebtedness, prescribed by law: And furtherprovided, That bonds shall not be issued as authorized herein until thequestion shall have been approved by a vote of the electors at a generalcity election, or a special election called for that purpose. Any such bondelection shall be conducted according to the procedure outlined in thegeneral bond law.
