Part 1 SHORT TITLE, CONSTRUCTION, GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1.--GENERAL PROVISIONS AND DEFINITIONS

     
16a-1-109.   (UCCC) Transactions subject to act by agreement.
The parties to a sale, lease, or loan or modification thereof, which is
not a consumer credit transaction may agree in a writing signed by the
parties that the transaction is subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 16a-1-101
through 16a-9-102 applying to
consumer credit transactions. If the parties so agree the transaction is
a consumer credit transaction for the purposes of K.S.A. 16a-1-101 through 16a-9-102.
