16-1906.   Action or arbitration to enforce act;costs; venue.In any action to enforce K.S.A. 16-1903, 16-1904 or 16-1905,and amendments thereto, including arbitration, between a contractor andsubcontractors or subcontractors and subcontractors, the court orarbitrator shall award costs and reasonable attorney fees to theprevailing party. Venue of such an action shall be in the countywhere the real property is located and under Kansas law. Thehearing in such an arbitration shall be held in the county wherethe real property is located.
