16-1907.   Provisions waiving right to collect damagesfor delays, void, unenforceable.Any provision in a contract that purports to waivethe rights of a party to the contract to collect damages fordelays caused by another party to the contract shall be void,unenforceable and against public policy. This provision is notintended to create a contract between parties where a contractdid not otherwise exist.
