16-708.   Same; qualifications.No license or any renewal thereof shall be granted to: (a) Any personwho is not a citizen of the United States;

      (b)   Any person who has not been an actual resident of the state ofKansas for at least two (2) years immediately preceding the date of hisapplication;

      (c)   Any person who has been convicted of or has pleaded guilty to afelony under the laws of this state, or any other state, or of the UnitedStates, or shall have forfeited his bond to appear in court to answercharges for any such offense within the ten (10) years immediately prior tosuch person's application for a license;

      (d)   Any person who has had his license revoked for cause under theprovisions of this act;

      (e)   Any person who is not at least twenty-one (21) years of age;

      (f)   Any person who at the time of application for renewal of any licenseissued hereunder would not be eligible for such license upon a firstapplication;

      (g)   Any person who does not own the premises for which a license issought, unless he has a written lease therefor for at least three-fourthsof the period for which the license is to be issued;

      (h)   Any person whose spouse would be ineligible to receive a licensehereunder for any reason other than the age, citizenship and residencerequirements;

      (i)   Any partnership, unless all of the partners shall be eligible toreceive a license as an individual; and

      (j)   A corporation, if any officer, manager, director or stockholderwould be ineligible to receive a license as an individual.
