16-843.   Penalties for fraudulent transactions over $5,000.Whoever, in a transaction affecting intrastate commerce, uses anycounterfeit, fictitious, altered, forged, lost, stolen, or fraudulentlyobtained credit card to obtain goods or services, or both, having a retailvalue aggregating $5,000 or more, shall be fined not more than $10,000 orimprisoned not more than five years, or both.
