17-12a606. Administrative files andopinions.(a) Public register of filings. The administratorshall maintain, or designate a person to maintain, a register ofapplications for registration of securities; registrationstatements; notice filings; applications for registration of broker-dealers,agents, investment advisers, and investment adviserrepresentatives; notice filings by federal covered investmentadvisers that are or have been effective under this act or thepredecessor act; notices of claims of exemption from registrationor notice filing requirements contained in a record; orders issuedunder this act or the predecessor act; and interpretative opinionsor no action determinations issued under this act.
(b) Public availability. The administrator shall make allrules, forms, interpretative opinions, and orders available to thepublic.
(c) Copies of public records. The administrator shall furnish acopy of a record that is a public record or a certification thatthe public record does not exist to a person that so requests. Arule adopted under this act may establish a reasonable charge forfurnishing the record or certification. A copy of the recordcertified or a certificate by the administrator of a record'snonexistence is prima facie evidence of a record or itsnonexistence.
