17-1368.   Same; contracts.Any municipality required, pursuant to this act, to care for and maintain acemetery may contract with any individual, firm, corporation or association forthe care and maintenance thereof or for the sale of unsold burial lots and theopening and closing of graves. Except as provided in K.S.A. 17-1371and amendments thereto, no such contract or any other agreement entered into bysuch municipality shall be deemed to relieve such municipality of the dutiesand responsibilities imposed under the provisions of this act.
