17-1504.   Telephone company doing business in rural district.That any telephone company principally doing business in any ruraldistrict in the state of Kansas at any regular annual meeting or at aspecial meeting duly called may change from an ordinary corporation intoa cooperative society as provided by K.S.A. 17-1501, 17-1502 and 17-1503and Laws 1915, chapter 159, section 3 [see 17-1515], by a vote representingthe majority of all thestock of such corporation, and thereafter such corporation shall be andbecome a cooperative society as provided by said sections.
