Article 16.--COOPERATIVE MARKETING

      17-1630.   Meetings of stockholders and directors; resident agent.In all cases where it is not otherwise provided by the bylaws, the meetings ofthe stockholders of every cooperative corporation organized or doing businessunder this act shall be held at the corporation's registered office in thisstate. The stockholders and directors, however, may hold their meetings andhave an office or offices outside of this state or elsewhere in this state ifthe articles of incorporation or bylaws so provide, and every such cooperativeassociation shall maintain a resident agent who may be either an individual ora corporation, resident of, or located in this state, in charge thereof.Service of any form of legal process on such resident agent shall be sufficientservice upon the corporation.
