17-1764.   Same; registration of professional fundraiser; application;duration of registration; annual report.No person shall act as a professional fund raiser for a charitableorganization or for anyreligious organization as described insubsection (k) of K.S.A. 17-1762 and amendments theretobefore such person has registered with thesecretary of state or after the expiration or cancellation of suchregistration or any renewal of such registration. Applications for registrationand reregistration shall be in writing and under oath in the formprescribed by the secretary of state. Registration or reregistration shall beineffect for aperiod of one year, or a part thereof, expiring onJune 30, and may be renewed upon written application, under oath, in theform prescribed by the secretary of state foradditional one year periods. Every professional fund raiser required toregister pursuant to this act shall file an annual written report withthe secretary of state containing such information as the secretary may requireby rule and regulation pursuant to K.S.A. 17-1763 and amendments thereto.
