17-1770. Same; service of process; agent, secretary of state; fee.(a) Any charitable organization, professional fund raiser orprofessional solicitor having a principal place of business other than withinthisstate, or organized under and by the laws of a foreign state, which issubject to the provisions of this act, shall be deemed to have irrevocablyappointed the secretary of state as the agent for service of process.Service may be made by delivering to and leaving with the secretary ofstate, or with any deputy or clerk in the corporation division of suchoffice, three copies of such service and a fee of $30.
(b) Following service upon the secretary of state, the provisions of lawrelating to service of process on foreign corporations shall thereafter govern.
