17-1775.   Same; venue of actions pursuant to act.(a) Every action pursuant to this act shall be brought inthe district court of any county in which there occurred an act or practicedeclared to be a violation of this act, or in which the defendant residesor has such defendant's principal place of business. If the defendant is anonresident and has no principal place of business within this state, thenthe nonresident defendant can be sued either in the district court ofShawnee county or in the district court of any county in which thereoccurred an act or practice declared to be a violation of this act.

      (b)   This section shall be part of and supplemental to the charitableorganizations and solicitations act.
