17-1908. Interference with lines; penalty.Any person who shall unlawfully and willfully cut, break, tap or makeconnection with any telegraph, telephone line or electric transmissionline, wire or cable shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and bepunished by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment in the county jailnot exceeding one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
