17-2207. Fiscal year; meetings; quorum; proxies; absentee or mailballot.The credit union fiscal year shall end at the close of business on December 31.Special meetings of the members may be held byorder of the board of directors or the supervisory committee and shall beheld on request of 10% of the members. At all meetings each member shallhave but one vote, irrespective of the number of shares held.The number of members constituting a quorum for any meeting shall be asspecified in the bylaws.No member may vote by proxy, but a member may vote by absentee or mail ballotif the bylaws of the credit union so allow. Asociety, association, copartnershipor corporation having membership in a credit union may be represented byone person, duly authorized by the society, association, copartnership, orcorporation to represent it. At any meeting the members may decide on anymatter of interest to the credit union, may overrule the directors, and, bya 3/4 vote of those present, may amend the bylaws, providingthe notice of the meeting shall have stated the question to be considered.
