17-2343.   Removal of commissioners, when; hearing.For inefficiency or neglect of duty or misconduct in office, acommissioner of an authority may be removed by the mayor or board of countycommissioners; but a commissioner shall be removed only after a hearing andafter he shall have been given a copy of the charges at least ten (10) daysprior to the hearing and had an opportunity to be heard in person or bycounsel. In the event of the removal of any commissioner, a record of theproceedings, together with the charges and findings thereon, shall be filedin the office of the clerk.
