Article 23.--DEVELOPMENT CREDIT CORPORATIONS; HOUSING LAWS

      17-2355.   Same; additional remedies conferrable by municipality.A municipality shall have power by its resolution, trust indenture,mortgage, lease or other contract to confer upon any obligee the right (inaddition to all rights that may otherwise be conferred), upon the happeningof an event of default as defined in such resolution or instrument, bysuit, action or proceeding in any court of competent jurisdiction to:

      (a)   Cause possession of any housing project or any part thereof to besurrendered to any such obligee.

      (b)   Obtain the appointment of a receiver of any housing project of saidmunicipality or any part thereof and of the rents and profits therefrom,and provide that, if a receiver be appointed, he may enter and takepossession of such housing project or any part thereof and operate andmaintain same, and collect and receive all fees, rents, revenues, or othercharges thereafter arising therefrom, and keep such moneys in a separateaccount or accounts and apply the same in accordance with the obligationsof the municipality as the court shall direct.

      (c)   Require said municipality and the officers, agents and employeesthereof to account as if it and they were the trustees of an express trust.
