17-2708.   Same; generalcorporation law applicable.Except as otherwise provided, the Kansas general corporation code contained inK.S.A. 17-6001 et seq., and amendments thereto, shall apply to aprofessional corporation organized pursuant to this chapter. Any provisions ofthe professional corporation law of Kansas shall take precedence over anyprovision of the Kansas general corporation code which conflicts with it. Theprovisions of the professional corporation law of Kansas shall take precedenceover any law which prohibits a corporation from rendering any type ofprofessional service. Any person authorized to form a professionalcorporationunder K.S.A. 17-2701 et seq. andamendments theretoalso may incorporate under the Kansas general corporation code contained inK.S.A. 17-6001 et seq., and amendmentsthereto, or organize undertheKansas limited liability company act contained inK.S.A. 17-7662 et seq., and amendments thereto, or organize as a limitedliabilitypartnership as defined inK.S.A. 56a-101 and amendmentsthereto.
