17-2717.   Same; election to function as general corporation; how made.The corporation may elect, at any time, upon the vote of the owners of amajority of the issued and outstanding shares, to amend its articles ofincorporation so as to prohibit its continued operation under this chapterand to substitute therefor authority for the said corporation to functionas a corporation under the general corporation laws, chapter 17, KansasStatutes Annotated. If such election is made, a certificate of amendmentshall be filed in the office of the secretary of state, setting forth thepurposes for which the corporation shall continue in operation, togetherwith any other amendments necessary to comply with the requirements ofchapter 17 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated.
