17-4675.   State corporation commission; jurisdiction;approval of merger or consolidation.(a) Cooperatives doing business in this state pursuant to therenewable energy electric generation cooperative act shall be subject to thejurisdiction and control of the state corporation commission of this state inthose provisions of chapter 66 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated applicable toelectric utilities.

      (b)   No merger or consolidation of any cooperative organized under theprovisions of the renewable energy electric generation cooperative act shallbecome effective until approved by the state corporation commission.
