17-4676.   Exemption from securities act.The provisions of the Kansas securities act shall not apply toany note, bond or other evidence of indebtedness issued by any cooperativedoing business in this state pursuant to the renewable energy electricgeneration cooperative act to the United States of America or any agency orinstrumentality thereof, or to any mortgage, deed of trust or other instrumentexecuted to secure the same. The provisions of such securities act shall notapply to the issuance of membership certificates by any cooperative.
