17-4678.   Payment of costs associated withdistribution and transmission.A cooperative organized under the renewable energy electricgeneration cooperative act shall pay the costs of use of distribution andtransmission systems by the cooperative to transmit electricity, the costs of ageneration interconnect study to the extent required by the standard provisionsfor agreements for interconnection and the costs of transmission systemimprovements, other upgrades and metering necessary for system operation. Thecooperative shall negotiate with the owners of distribution and transmissionsystems for the purpose of determining such costs.
