17-4759a.   Same; purpose of act.This act is intended to authorize a municipality to prescribe minimumstandards for all types of structures (both "residential" and"nonresidential") and to regulate their use, occupancy, maintenance andrepair, removal and demolition. This expansion of K.S.A. 17-4759 to include"nonresidential" structures is not intended to limit or impair in anymanner a municipality's power to prescribe minimum housing standards withinthe municipality.
