Article 52.--SAVINGS AND LOAN CODE; INCORPORATION AND ORGANIZATION

      17-5224.   Corporate name may not be same or nearly same as that ofexisting corporation; exceptions.No certificate of incorporation of a proposed association having thesame name as a corporation authorized to do business under the law of thisstate or a name so nearly resembling it as to be calculated to deceive,shall be issued by the commissioner, except an association formed by thereincorporation, reorganization or consolidation of other association, orupon the sale of the property or franchises of an association. Anassociation acquiring or becoming possessed of all the estate, property,rights, privileges and franchises of any other association or associationsby merger may have the same name as the association or one of theassociations to whose franchise it succeeded.
