17-5225b.   Same; notice of hearing; evidence.Upon receipt of an application meeting the above requirements, the savingsand loan board shall conduct a hearing on the application in accordancewith the provisions of the Kansas administrative procedure act. The savingsand loan commissioner shall notify by registered or certifiedmail all associations and federal savings and loan associations havingan office in the county where such home office or branch is sought to belocated of such petition and the time and place at which a hearing bythe savings and loan board will be held and shall publish notice of suchpetition and the time and place of such hearing in a newspaper of generalcirculation in the county where such home office or branch is sought tobe located. Such hearing shall be held not later than 60 days from the dateof receipt of such application. The notice required by this section to begiven by registered or certified mail shall be given at least 30 days inadvance of the hearing date. Thenotice required by this section to be given by publication in a newspaperof general circulation in the county where such home office or branch issought to be located shall be given at least 10 days in advance of thehearing date. The savings and loan board shall at the time and place setin the notice, hold such hearing. All interested persons shall beallowed a reasonable time to present written and oral evidence to theboard at such hearing in support of or opposition to the application.
