17-5230.   Establishment of branch office in state by out-of-statesavings and loan, when.Subject to such prohibitions, limitations and conditions asthe commissioner may by regulation prescribe, the commissioner may allowany state chartered savings and loan association having its home office ina state other than Kansas to establish and operate a branch office in thestate of Kansas if the law of the state where the home office of theassociation is located permits the establishment and operation of suchbranch offices in that state by associations with home offices in Kansas.Such regulations shall not exceed theauthority granted to federally chartered savings and loan associations tooperate a branch in a state other than Kansas.
