17-5405.   Purchase of shares; signature card; certificate of ownership. In connection with the purchase of shares every savings and loanassociation shall obtain a card containing the signature of the owner ofsuch shares or his duly authorized representative and shall preserve suchsignature card in the records of the association. Every savings and loanassociation shall issue to each holder of its shares a certificateevidencing the ownership and the interest of the holder thereof in thecapital of such savings and loan association, subject to its charter andbylaws and to the laws of the state of Kansas.
