17-5501c.   Authority to accept and pledge security for U.S. treasurytax and loan accounts.Any savings and loan association shall have the power andauthority to accept and maintain treasury tax and loan accounts of the UnitedStates, the balance in which is payable on demand without previous noticeof intended withdrawal, and to pledge collateral to secure treasury taxor loan accounts in accordance with regulations of the department of thetreasury of the United States.
