17-5543.   Same; approval by federal home loan bank board, when.In the event any association involved in a proposed merger is a federalsavings and loan association the commissioner shall transmit to the federalhome loan bank board, Washington, D.C., a copy of the proposed mergeragreement and shall not approve the merger agreement unless and until hehas been advised, in writing by the federal home loan bank board that saidboard has no objection thereto.
