17-6201.   Registered office required; location; termsconstrued.(a) Every corporation shall have and maintain in this state a registeredoffice which may, but need not be, the same as its place of business.

      (b)   Unless the context otherwise requires, whenever the term "corporation'sprincipal office or place of business in this state" or "principal office orplace of business of the corporation in this state," or other term of likeimport, is or has been used in a corporation's articles of incorporation, or inany other document, or in any statute other than the Kansas uniform commercialcode, it shall be deemed to mean and refer to the corporation's registeredoffice required by this section; and it shall not be necessary for anycorporation to amend its articles of incorporation or any other document tocomply with this section.
