17-6905.   Same; proof of claims by creditors; claimsbarred, when; notice.All creditors shall make proof under oath of their respective claims againstthe corporation and shall cause such proof of claim to be filed in the officeof the clerk of the district court of the county in which the proceeding ispending within six months from the date of the appointment of a receiver forthe corporation, or within such other period of time if the court shall soorder and direct. All creditors and claimants failing to do so, within the timelimited by this section, or the time prescribed by the order of the court, maybe barred by the court from participating in the distribution of the assets ofthe corporation. The court also may prescribe what notice, by publication orotherwise, shall be given to the creditors of the time fixed for the filing andmaking proof of claims.
