17-76,122.   Same; certification of registrationapplication.(a) If the secretary of statefinds that an application for registration conforms to lawand all requisite fees have been paid, the secretary of state shall:

      (1)   Certify that the application has been filed in the secretary of state'soffice by endorsingupon the original application the word "filed" and the date and hour of thefiling, and theendorsement is conclusive of the date and time of its filing in the absence ofactual fraud; and

      (2)   file and index the endorsed application.

      (b)   The duplicate of the application, similarly certified, shall be returnedto the person whofiled the application or that person's representative.
