18-116. Coffey.The county of Coffey is bounded as follows: Commencing at a point threemiles north of the southwest corner of Franklin county; thence west withthe south boundary of Osage county, to the southwest corner thereof; thencesouth with the section lines dividing the second and third tiers ofsections of range thirteen, to a point forty rods north of the one fourthcorner on the west line of section fourteen, township twenty, rangethirteen; thence east parallel to the east-and-west middle line of saidsection, to the middle of the Neosho river; thence down the middle of saidriver, passing through the middle of a stone pier now standing in themiddle of the Neosho river and following thence down the middle of theNeosho river, to a point twenty rods south of the east-and-west middle lineof said section; thence west parallel to the east-and-west middle line ofsaid section, to the west line of said section fourteen; thence south withthe section line, to the corner of sections fourteen, fifteen, twenty-twoand twenty-three of township twenty-three south, of range thirteen east;thence east with the section lines, to the northwest corner of Allencounty; thence north with the west boundary of Anderson county, to theplace of beginning.
