Geary.The county of Geary is bounded as follows: Commencing at the northeastcorner of section twenty-seven, township eleven south, of range eight,east of the sixth principal meridian; thence west on section line, tothe southwest corner of section nineteen, township eleven south, ofrange seven east; thence north on section line, to the middle of thechannel of the Kansas river's 1977 course; thence up the middleof said channel of theKansas river, to where the west line of section twenty-three, townshipeleven south, of range six, crosses said river; thence north, to thenorthwest corner of section twenty-three, township eleven south, ofrange six; thence west on section line, to the southwest corner ofsection fourteen, township eleven, range five east; thence north onsection line, to the intersection of the boundary of the Fort Rileymilitary reservation with the west line of said section fourteen,township eleven south, range five east; thence northeasterly andnortherly along said boundary of the reservation as described inmiscellaneous record book S, pages 321 through 339 and pages 486 through490 in the register of deeds office of Riley county, to the east quartersection line of section thirty-five, township ten south, range fiveeast, thence west along the east-west quarter section line to the westsection line of said section thirty-five, township ten south, range fiveeast, thence north on section line to the northeast corner of sectionthree, township ten south, of range five east; thence west on townshipline, to the northwest corner of section two, township ten south, ofrange four east; thence south on the section lines, to the middlechannel of the Smoky Hill river; thence down the middle channel of saidSmoky Hill river, to the east line of range four east; thence south onsaid range line, to the southwest corner of township thirteen; thenceeast on township line, to the southeast corner of section thirty-four,township thirteen south, of range eight east; thence north on sectionlines, to place of beginning.
