Article 1.--NAMES AND BOUNDARIES OF COUNTIES

      18-146.   Johnson.The county of Johnson is bounded as follows: Commencing at the pointwhere the north line of township twelve south intersects the west boundaryline of the state of Missouri; thence west on said township line, to itsintersection with the main channel of the Kansas river in range twenty-foureast; thence up said river, in the middle of the main channel thereof, toan intersection with the line between the second and third tiers ofsections in range twenty-one east; thence south on section lines, to thecorner of sections fourteen, fifteen, twenty-two and twenty-three, intownship fifteen south, of range twenty-one east; thence east on sectionlines, to the western boundary line of the state of Missouri; thence northon said boundary line, to the place of beginning.
