Chapter 19.--COUNTIES AND COUNTY OFFICERS
Article 14.--COUNTY SURVEYOR OR ENGINEER

      19-1413.   Molesting or threatening surveyor; penalty.If any county surveyor or his deputy shall be molested, or preventedfrom doing or performing any of his or their official duties, by means ofthreats or improper interference of any person or persons, such surveyorshall call on the sheriff of the county, who shall accompany him and removeall force; and the person or persons thus threatening or improperlyinterfering with any county surveyor or his deputy, while performing his ortheir official duties, shall on conviction thereof be fined in a sum notexceeding one hundred dollars, and moreover be liable for all damages toany person by the hindrance of the surveyor or his deputy, and also for allthe expenses that may accrue in consequence of the attendance of thesheriff.
