19-1413. Molesting or threatening surveyor; penalty.
If any county surveyor or his deputy shall be molested, or prevented
from doing or performing any of his or their official duties, by means of
threats or improper interference of any person or persons, such surveyor
shall call on the sheriff of the county, who shall accompany him and remove
all force; and the person or persons thus threatening or improperly
interfering with any county surveyor or his deputy, while performing his or
their official duties, shall on conviction thereof be fined in a sum not
exceeding one hundred dollars, and moreover be liable for all damages to
any person by the hindrance of the surveyor or his deputy, and also for all
the expenses that may accrue in consequence of the attendance of the
sheriff.
