19-1421.   Calculations of irregular tract of land; variations ofmagnetic needle from true meridian.All calculations to ascertain the contents of an irregular tract of landby the county surveyor or his deputy, or other person or persons who may atany time be called by the court to execute a survey, shall be made bylatitude and departure, and on each plat the county surveyor or hisdeputies, or the person or persons called on by the court as aforesaid,shall lay down the variations of the magnetic needle from the truemeridian.
