Chapter 19.--COUNTIES AND COUNTY OFFICERS
Article 14.--COUNTY SURVEYOR OR ENGINEER

      19-1428.   Survey affecting county line; notice; appeal.In any survey affecting a county line, the surveyor who may be called onto make the survey shall serve notice upon the county surveyor of theadjoining county, and they shall agree upon a time, and they shall eachserve notice upon the landowners of their respective counties who areinterested in such survey, in the same manner as is provided in K.S.A. 19-1423and 19-1424, and shall make suchsurvey in the same manner as other surveys; and each surveyor shall filea copy of the plat and field notes of such survey in the countysurveyor's office. Appeals from the said survey may be made, and to thesame effect as in K.S.A. 19-1426. The corners andboundaries so established and recorded in each county shall be held tobe permanent, and shall never be changed.
