19-15,120.   Counties designated urban areas; acquisition ofbuilding sites; general obligation bonds; limitations.The board of county commissioners of any county which has beendesignated an urban area by the legislature is hereby authorized andempowered to acquire a building site or sites for the rendering ofcounty services by county officials subject to the limitationsprescribed by K.S.A. 19-1586: Provided, however, That generalobligation bonds may be issued by such county in an amount not to exceedone hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to pay all or part of thecost of such acquisition without an election but subject to theprovisions of K.S.A. 19-15,122.
