Article 15.--COUNTY BUILDINGS

     
19-15,137.   Transfer of balance in certain fund to special county
hospital and home for aged fund in certain counties between 3,600 and 4,500
authorized.

Whenever the board of county commissioners of any county having a
population of more than three thousand six hundred (3,600) and not more
than four thousand five hundred (4,500) and an assessed valuation of more
than twenty-five million dollars ($25,000,000) and not more than forty
million dollars ($40,000,000) which has established a building fund and
levied a tax therefor for the purpose of constructing a courthouse in such
county but which has prior to the effective date of this act made
improvements in the existing courthouse, shall by resolution determine that
the purpose for which such levy was made has been fulfilled by such
improvements and that all indebtedness and obligations of such fund have
been fully paid and cancelled, and the unexpended balance, stating the
amount, is not presently and will not in the future be required for such
purpose by reason of the fact that the purpose has been fulfilled, such
unexpended balance may be transferred to a special county hospital and home
for the aged fund and used only for the purpose of constructing and
furnishing enlargements or additions to the county hospital and home for
the aged established and operated by such county.
