Article 15.--COUNTY BUILDINGS

      19-15,137.   Transfer of balance in certain fund to special countyhospital and home for aged fund in certain counties between 3,600 and 4,500authorized.Whenever the board of county commissioners of any county having apopulation of more than three thousand six hundred (3,600) and not morethan four thousand five hundred (4,500) and an assessed valuation of morethan twenty-five million dollars ($25,000,000) and not more than fortymillion dollars ($40,000,000) which has established a building fund andlevied a tax therefor for the purpose of constructing a courthouse in suchcounty but which has prior to the effective date of this act madeimprovements in the existing courthouse, shall by resolution determine thatthe purpose for which such levy was made has been fulfilled by suchimprovements and that all indebtedness and obligations of such fund havebeen fully paid and cancelled, and the unexpended balance, stating theamount, is not presently and will not in the future be required for suchpurpose by reason of the fact that the purpose has been fulfilled, suchunexpended balance may be transferred to a special county hospital and homefor the aged fund and used only for the purpose of constructing andfurnishing enlargements or additions to the county hospital and home forthe aged established and operated by such county.
