19-1622.   Board may appoint clerk.The said board may, if necessary, on the day or days of the making andcorrecting such lists, appoint a clerk to assist them in the discharge oftheir duties required by this act; and the same oath shall be taken by suchclerk as is required by law of clerks of elections.
