19-1917. Fugitives from other states; compensation for custody.
Any county jail may be used for the safekeeping of any fugitive from
justice from another state or territory, and the jailer shall in such case
be entitled to reasonable compensation for the support and custody of such
fugitive from justice, to be paid by the officer demanding the custody of
the same.
